The Infinix Zero Ultra is a mid-range Android device that debuted in October 2022 but has yet to arrive in the Kenyan market. The Ultra is part of Infinix’s top-tier Zero series and it comes as a successor to the Zero X Pro released last year in October.

On paper, the Zero Ultra is perceived as a ‘next-gen’ mid-ranger sporting industry firsts as well as amazing key specs and features. These include a 180W Thunder Charge system, a 200MP main camera, and a 120Hz OLED screen with curved edges.

The Infinix Zero Ultra packs an extraordinary display profile and is a great contender for one of the best displays in 2022. It’s a 6.8″ FHD+ AMOLED display with 3D curved edges for wider screen views as well as great grip.

The Ultra also brings with it what Infinix calls a ‘Waterfall display’ made possible by the high 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also a punch-hole panel, so you have a large screen view of real estate and an immersive, captivating visual experience.

Infinix definitely brought their A-game with the Zero Ultra. It’s a gorgeous, sleek smartphone. Contrary to the recent Flat-edged side design, the smartphone boasts a slimmer, curved look that is just pleasing to the eye. Plus, the 3D curved display perfectly complements the phone’s physique and frame.

The smartphone comes in two interesting color options. Coslight Silver that adapts a classical cosmas karman theme that is designed with lines from the universe embodying futuristic cosmic energy. The other is the innovative Genesis Noir that integrates a design of geometry, leather, and glass coming out pure and elegant.

The Zero Ultra packs MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 chipset. This Octa-core processor is set up on a 6nm process and clocks at 2.5Ghz. It’s exceptionally fast and light on power and comes with Infinix’s clever 5G technology

As for memory, the device comes with an 8/256GB configuration which is quite sufficient for a phone under this segment. The RAM is expandable to 13GB via Memory fusion and you get up to 1TB of additional storage via a microSD card slot.

The Ultra is mainly equipped to support an outstandingly smooth network with dual 5G SIM and Networking engine HyperEngine 3.0 that supports 5G Call & Data Concurrency 3.0, 5G HSR mode, and Super Hotspot Power Saving, so you can also have a stable network experience when calling and during gameplay.

The Infinix Zero Ultra brings a powerful camera system. It has a triple camera setup headlined by a 200MP(OIS) main lens, complemented by a pair of 13+2MP auxiliary lenses.

The 200MP camera produces high-quality images with rich detail. No matter what shots you take, you have a large sensor area, high light sensitivity, and greater clarity. Upfront, we have a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Some of the notable software features include Dual View Video, DOL-HDR Movie Director option, and Super Night mode.

A Li-Po 4500mAh battery is supposedly keeping the lights on the Infinix Zero Ultra. The charging speed which is also the device’s main focus of attention is 180W, dubbed Thunder Charge. The Zero Ultra can charge to 100% in 12 Minutes, just 5 minutes faster than the Note 12 VIP’s 120W HyperCharge.

This is made possible by the double Ultra 8C cell battery on the handset. Not to mention, you have furious mode, which switches on dual mode for the flash charge making it even faster than the standard mode.

Price in Kenya

The Infinix Zero Ultra has yet to arrive in Kenya. However, it could sport an expected price tag of Kshs. 59,999.
