The endgame for most tech brands is to develop an end-to-end ecosystem. Such a tech ecosytem has immense advantages in the context that it allows the brands to keeps its existing customers while at the same time attract new ones.
Itel mobile has recently been on a path to develop its own eco-system.
The brand is well known for it’s fairly priced smartphones but is now seeking to diversify its offerings. This has seen itel venture into other segments of the tech industry.
In addition, to launching the S16, which is its latest smartphone, itel has now unveiled the S431 and S432, a lineup of television sets with inbuilt decoders. This is the first time that the brand is launching TV sets and Kenya might just be the right market to test the concept.
In addition to this, itel also launched ITW-16, a gorgeous set of wireless earbuds and the itel smartband, a band that has an activity tracker, color display and is also IP67 certified against sweat and water splashes.
This is just the start of the brand re-invention. With itel devices now being in your living room and it’s entry into the wearables segment. You can only expect more from the brand.
