The Nokia C10 is a budget Android smartphone that was announced by HMD Global Nokia in March 2021 but recently became available in Kenya. The C10 packs an up-to standard technical profile with the major highlights being on its display and battery life.
That said, let’s jump right and see what the Nokia C10 has to offer.

Display
Display Size: 6.51-inches
Display Type: IPS LCD
Screen Resolution: 720 x 1600 pixels
Screen Resolution Density: 269 ppi
The Nokia C10 sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. It also comes with a 269 ppi screen resolution density.
The display is pretty standard, nothing particularly special about it. In fact. Its quite similar to the Nokia 1.4’s except a bit smaller. It is however, the main highlight and the most unique selling proposition for why Nokia want you to purchase the C10.
Design
Dimensions: 169.9 x 77.9 x 8.8 mm
The Nokia C10 comes with what Nokia call a Nordic design which is a fancy way of saying the phone is slim, sleek and has a superior build quality. From the looks of it, the casing is up to par and will provide even better grip.
The C10 comes in two color options; Grey and light purple.
Performance
Operating System: Android 11(Go edition)
CPU: 1.3Ghz Quad-core (Unisoc SC7331E)
RAM: 1GB
Internal Memory: 16GB
Micro SD: Yes
A Quad-core processor powers the C10 coupled with either 1GB/2GB RAM. It’s quite a letdown that Nokia still manufactures smartphones that have 1GB RAM.
The 2GB RAM variation is the typical threshold these days even for Android budget smartphones, Nokia should have gotten the memo by now.
Memory issues aside, the Unisoc SC7331E (28nm) chipset equipped on the C10 is an entry level SoC (System on a chip) that is normally clocked at 1.3GHz to perform standard and casual tasks on the device.
Storage-wise, you get either 16GB/32GB internal memory which is pretty satisfactory. One cool performance feature on the C10 though is the fact that it runs Android 11 (Go edition) out of the box.
This is a huge step-up compared to some of the recent phones Nokia has launched like the Nokia 5.4 that runs on Android 10. It’s worth mentioning the new range of smartphones including the C10, C20, X10 and X20 will all be running on Android 11 (Go edition).
Plus, the two years of quarterly security update is a huge perk and guarantees your files and data are safe no matter the circumstances.
Camera
Rear Camera: 5MP
Secondary Camera: 5MP
LED Flash: Yes
The Nokia C10 camera profile is pretty ordinary for an Android budget smartphone. The rear as well as secondary cameras are both 5MP. That, and the fact that both sides have LED flash.
Nokia really wanted to bring costs down however, I feel like for the rear camera, they would have used a higher resolution like 13MP, similar to the OPPO A12’s.
Battery
Battery Capacity: Li-ion 3000 mAh
A removable Li-ion 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on the Nokia C10. The phone might not last you a day so you will have to plug it in before you sleep.
