OPPO is fast becoming a market leader when it comes to Research and Development. The company appears to be taking the R&D aspect a notch higher and is working on its new R&D headquarters that will be located in the Chinese city of Hangzhou.
The project is a partnership between the smartphone manufacturer and bjarke ingels group (BIG), a Danish architecture firm.
The new headquarters has an ambitious objective of ‘connecting the ground to sky in a continuous loop of collaboration’ and from the digital renders, it appears to be doing exactly that.
Another noteworthy piece of info about the building is that OPPO intended it to be a manifestation of an OPPO product, a design that is ‘effortlessly elegant while at the same time elevates the quality of human life’.
Well, that statement is true.
Locally, OPPO recently launched the Reno5 and Reno5F which are two of the best-designed mid-range Android smartphones on the market right now. Learn more about the Reno5 and Reno5F.
Apart from the futuristic design of the building, the building is also designed to be sustainable and integrates several sophisticated features that minimizes its carbon emissions.
