The survey (n=743) that focused on teens between the ages of 13 and 17 found out social media connections make them feel confident. The teens feel confident that they will be able to reach out to people in their networks for help in case they encounter a difficulty in their lives.

It is noteworthy to mention that, about 26% of the respondents of the survey admitted that social media makes them feel insecure about themselves.

Another interesting bit from the survey is that 45% of the respondents felt that there is too much drama on social media sites.

Additionally, about 50% of the respondents post about things they have done on social media. A significant number post about their family and emotions. Just 10% of the teens survey post about religion and social media.
