Earlier this year, it was uncertain whether Samsung would launch the Galaxy S21 FE. However, recently, the company accidentally published an image of the smartphone, and that sure confirmed the device’s existence.

It was expected to debut along with Samsung’s foldable smartphones earlier this month but due to chip shortage issues, it wasn’t possible. Now, Samsung has started openly teasing the handset.

A leaked image supposedly of a Samsung store proves the company is gearing up for its launch soon. So, when might we see the smartphone?

Well, according to a reliable tipster, the Galaxy S21 FE will be announced on September 8. The launch timing is interesting considering Apple is also reportedly announcing the latest model in the iPhone series, iPhone 13 on September 14.

So far, we know the S21 FE could come equipped with a 6.4-inches screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a 12MP selfie camera, and three rear cameras (32MP+12MP+8MP), Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chip, and a 4370mAh battery.

The FE will also offer 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Interestingly, the device will cost less than the Galaxy S20 FE, which launched for $699 (Ksh. 76,700).
