TECNO Mobile has begun teasing the launch of its two smartphones the Camon 12 and the Camon 12 Air. The teasing was through an official press release that was published on the APO newsroom.
The TECNO Camon series has been about been all about offering the best budget camera experience. True to this, the Camon 12 will pack a triple AI-powered camera system and a 90% screen to body ratio, which is quite impressive.
In addition to the Camon 12, TECNO will also launch the Camon 12 Air. The TECNO Camon 12 Air appears to be a budget variant of the Camon 12.
However, what’s interesting is that the smartphone will feature a hole-punch display and will therefore, offer the often elusive near full-screen experience.
The hole-punch feature is still quite a premium smartphone feature and thus, it’s very interesting that it will debut on the Camon 12 Air as opposed to having it on Phantom 9, which is TECNO’s flagship smartphone.
The press release hinted at TECNO Mobile launching the two smartphones on September 5th, which is just two days away. Time is just right for the launch of new TECNO Camon devices and therefore, the launch date is plausible.
