Display
Display Size: 7.0-inch
Display Type: WSVGA IPS
Screen Resolution: 600 x 1024 Pixels
Screen Resolution Density: 169 PPI
Screen Protection: None
The DroiPad 7F packs a 7-icnh IPS display. The display size of the tablet isn’t exactly big and this makes the 7F appear more of a Phablet than a tablet.
The size is however, just right for you if you are a heavy smartphone users and you need a larger display for emails, watching movies or simply want something that offers some features of a laptop but at a fraction of the weight.
The display profile is pretty basic and if you are looking for high-quality display properties, you should probably look elsewhere.
Design
Dimensions: 193 x 104 x 9.6mm
The TECNO DroiPad 7F looks a lot like the DroiPad 7D. It’s an all plastic-construction with back cover with an elegant textured finish.
Performance
Network: 3G
Operating System: Android 8.1 (Go Edition)
CPU: 1.3 GHz Quad-core
RAM: 1GB
Internal Memory: 16GB
Micro SD: Yes, up to 32GB
A 1.3 GHz Quad-core CPU powers the DroiPad 7F, this is coupled with 1GB RAM. The performance set-up is therefore, not very impressive and the tablet might struggle to run graphic intensive apps and games.
However, the great thing is that the tablet runs Android 8.1 Go out of the box and the software is optimized to run on entry-level hardware.
Still on that, it’s very disappointing that the table runs Android 8.1 out of the box as opposed to it running the more recent Android 9.0. This is okay if software isn’t much of a priority to you but a deal breaker if you are into having a devices that run the latest version of Android.
Storage-wise, you get 16GB as internal storage for your music, video and documents. The DroiPad 7F also comes with a micro-SD card slot that supports up to 32GB of memory.
