Vivo-Y02s-leak

Vivo is gearing up to launch the new budget Y02s in global markets. The device is part of its entry-level Y-series. Although details about its release are uncertain, it’s definitely imminent.

The company accidentally leaked images and info about the smartphone on its website. And while hasty efforts were taken to scrap down the error, sources quickly tapped into the content before it got too late.

The Vivo Y02s is said to sport a 6.51-inch IPS LCD with a 720p resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will come equipped with MediaTek’s Helio P35 chipset alongside 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

The back comes with the new dual circle design with each carrying an 8MP shooter and one LED flash. Upfront, you have a 5MP sensor for selfies and video calls. There is no fingerprint sensor, though.

A Li-Po 5000mAh battery keeps the lights on supporting 10W charging. We still don’t know what version of Android it will run. Details on price and launch date are also still unclear. We’ll be sure to keep you updated once we learn more.
