The Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones have outsold the Galaxy S9 generation. This is according to market data that was recently released by Counterpoint Research.
Samsung sold more than 12 Million Galaxy S10 smartphone in Q1 2019, which is 12% more than the Galaxy S9 generation devices the company sold over the same period last year.
Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10e in March of this year. Interestingly, the Galaxy S10+ was the best-selling smartphone from the range accounting for 42% of the sales. This is despite the smartphone being the most expensive from the Galaxy S10 range.
The S10 was the second most popular smartphone from the range (32%) while the S10e, which is the most smartphone from the range, accounted for 22% of the sales during that period.
The impressive performance of the Galaxy S10 smartphones went ahead to cement the position of Samsung as one of the leading premium smartphone vendors.
