The two 5G flagship smartphones are the first flagship smartphones from the Shenzhen-based tech giant to ship without Google services.

The obvious elephant in the room is about how premium smartphone shoppers will respond to a smartphone that ships without essential Google services.
Google services such as Maps and Mail are now essential in the lifestyle of most and thus there is the probability that a section of smartphone consumers that will find the lack of the services less appealing.
However, the good thing is that Huawei has the lion’s share of the Chinese market. With Google services already banned in China, the Mate 30 series smartphones have a nice launching pad.
