After months of beta testing, the final version of Android 12 got released a few weeks ago. We’ve seen developers and eager fans trying it out on AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and even companies like OPPO using the version to launch its latest ColorOS 12.

Now, Android 12 has officially been launched for users who want to easily grab the update over the air (finally). The update is already available for Pixel smartphones-that is Pixel 3 up to Google’s latest Pixel 6.

For Samsung Galaxy, OPPO, OnePlus, Realme, TECNO, Vivo, and Xiaomi users, the version will be rolling out to devices over the remaining year.

It’s so expressive that everything, including the lock screen, notifications, settings, apps, and even widgets are personalizable. Speaking of widgets, many of them have been updated to match the new look.

There are plenty of other features in Android 12, including better power saving and accessibility features. For social media addicts and gamers, the company is also rolling out hot-updates. Basically, you can keep using an app while an update for the same app is downloading and installing in the background.
