OPPO announces new two-year partnership with UEFA

OPPO-UEFA-partnership

OPPO has signed a new sponsorship deal with UEFA that will see the smartphone manufacturer advertise its products in several tournaments including the popular UEFA champions league.

The deal running for the next two seasons: 2022/2023 and 2023/2024, will see the brand put in the spotlight through advertising screens at stadiums, broadcast backdrops and social media marketing with UEFA-affiliated websites and pages.

William Liu, President of Global Marketing at Oppo said the company “believes in the power of innovation to help with life’s challenges” and the synergy with UEFA’s desire to fight in the face of adversity is a perfect partnership.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director at UEFA confirmed Liu’s words and reiterated both parties are willing to work together to “connect and inspire football fans around the world”.

It’s worth noting this is not the first major deal the Chinese maker has had. Back in 2019, the brand collaborated with FC Barcelona and unveiled the Reno 10X Zoom branded in the signature La Liga team colors. It’s sort of a similar partnership as the one Vivo had with UEFA in the EURO 2020 tournament.
