Infinix has officially unveiled the Zero X series. The Infinix Zero X is an update to the Zero 8, a smartphone that launched just over two years ago. The unveiling comes a couple of weeks after the details of the device leaked online.

The launch of the Zero X is more like a refresh of the Infinix Zero series and the brand is shooting for the moon with the X, literary. The Zero X maintains the Zero tradition of the lineup being all about an excellent camera experience but takes it a little further by including a 60X periscope moonshot camera.

The camera hardware that is complemented with Infinix’s proprietary Galileo Algorithm Engine, allows users to capture high resolution shots of the moon.

The camera is the point of focus with the Zero X and the key reason that will make the smartphone stand out on the market. For general photography, the smartphone packs a 108MP lens as the main sensor, a 64MP night mode camera, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a Quad-LED flash.

In addition to this, the Zero X offers a 16MP front-facing camera for your selfies and video calls. The selfie camera additionally packs a dual front flash to help out with low-light photography.
