The itel S32 LTE is here!

itel launched the S32 LTE just a couple of weeks ago and the smartphone is now officially available in itel stores countrywide.

The highlight of the S32 LTE is that it is the first itel smartphone to support 4G. I know this might not the newsworthy considering that 4G tech is now mainstream, but itel is primarily a feature phone smartphone vendor and thus it is awesome that the brand now has a 4G device.

First impressions

The packaging is cool, I totally loved it. It gives the phone a premium look and feel, something that is often elusive on budget smartphones.

The itel S32 LTE is quite light and feels really good to hold. The phone is however of all poly-carbonate construction. I expected that considering the price point of the smartphone.

The S32 LTE has this flashy looking rear cover that gives it a metallic feel. The use of the flashy slippery surface is, however, detrimental since it makes the phone a fingerprint magnet.

The itel S32 LTE runs Android 7 out of the box. It would have been really awesome if it ran, the more recent Android 8. The good thing is that the OS runs really smoothly, sliding a hot knive through a stick of butter soft.

The OS has an almost stock feel, but there are a number of out of the box apps such as app freeze and app lock that come pre-installed.

One accessories that had me really excited was the pair of headphones. They have a sleek look and the audio quality is decent.

I will be doing a specifications review of the itel S32 soon, so standby for that!
