Itel has been for a while now, teased it’s brand relaunch. We have written about it and it’s an exciting move to see the brand expand into the space.
The itel plans to penetrate the segment of the industry through the S321 and S431. The nomenclature of the TV set is based to reflect the size of the TV panels where by the S321 signifies a 32-inch wide television while the S431 is a 43-inch television.
In addition to the two TVs itel also has a smaller size one, the D243. The set seeks to attract the buyers interested in a rugged TV set. It does this by having a tempered glass that protects the smartphone from shocks and accidental falls.
The television come with an inbuilt satellite decode, which is now an essential for a TV sold in Kenya. This means that the smartphone is able to receive signals from free-to-air channels.
In addition to this, the TVs pack an i-cast feature that gives its users to wireless cast/project their smartphone displays to the display without having to be connected to the same wi-fi network.
The S321 and S431 will be available online from Transsion’s Xpark and Kilimall before the end of this month (Sept. 2020).
