OPPO has launched a mobile photography competition that will see the top three contestants walk away with Ksh. 200,000 for the winner, Ksh. 100,000 for the 1st runners-up and Ksh. 50,000 for the 2nd runners-up.

OPPO says the Reno6 5G wildlife photography challenge is aimed at supporting the continued revival of local tourism by encouraging more Kenyans to visit the national parks and game reserves.

OPPO Kenya PR Manager Muthoni Wachira said the challenge will also, among other things highlight the OPPO Reno Series innovation in camera features and capability, particularly the Reno6 5G.

“OPPO continues to innovate further to enable customers record every precious moment as professional-looking portrait images and videos.”

“The Reno6 5G, for instance, features a 64MP AI Triple Camera setup on the back and a 32MP Selfie Camera on the front. Additionally, it has a dedicated color temperature sensor that captures colors more accurately.”

We did a review on the Reno6 5G and saw it has kind off the same camera specs as the Reno 5, except it comes with better software features such as the Bokeh Flare Portrait Video, AI Highlight video, Portrait Beautification video and Focus Tracking.

All this powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 5G chipset, will make your pictures come out looking exquisite. On with the competition, contestants will have to put their photography skills into action and capture images of the beautiful Kenyan wildlife using a mobile phone.

To submit their entry, they will need to follow OPPO’s social media handles on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and post their images accompanied by the tags #OPPOWildlifeChallenge and #EveryEmotionInPotrait.

The competition runs until 8th October where the winners will be selected based on the quality of their images exclusively shot from a mobile device
