For our readers not familiar with PUBG Mobile, it an online multiplayer game that allows players to drop to an island, scavenge for weapons and kill the other players in the game.

The game is extremely popular, especially amongst young gamers since it allows you to form squads with friends and participate in death matches. PUBG is so popular that it was nominated in multiple categories in the Google Play Awards.

India is PUBG Mobile largest market, after China, and due to that, the popularity of the game has caught the attention of many in the country. Most are concerned about the addictive nature of the game, especially on under-age gamers.

Whereas there is a reason to be concerned about the millions of underage PUBG Mobile players, the effect of outright banning the game could have the opposite effect and might create undue interest in the game.

Whereas there is research to show that violent games tend to increase the level of aggression of players, there is no link between such games and psychopathy.
