The TECNO Camon 12 is a budget Android smartphone that was unveiled early in September 2019.

The Camon 12 is the successor of the TECNO Camon 11, an extremely popular budget smartphone that launched just over an year ago.

The Camon 12 is yet to officially launch in Kenya. However, using historical pricing trends of the Camon series smartphones, expect the smartphone to have a suggested retail price of between Ksh. 14,000 to Ksh. 15,000 when it launches in Kenya.

The TECNO Camon 12 packs a 16+8+2 MP triple camera system. This is an improvement from the 13+2 MP camera on the Camon 11. In addition to this, the smartphone packs a 12MP camera for your selfies and video calls.

An Octa-core 2.0 GHz chipset powers the Camon 12. This is coupled with 4GB RAM. The set-up is quite good and is able to run pretty much everything that you’ll throw at it.

The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, which is great. You get 64GB as internal storage and a micro-SD card slot that can support up to 128GB of memory.

A Li-Po 4000 mAh battery keeps the lights on. This is a slight upgrade from the 3750mAh battery that powers the Camon 11.

Price in Kenya

The TECNO Camon 12 is yet to officially launch in Kenya.

However, using historical pricing trends of the Camon series smartphones, expect the smartphone to have a suggested retail price of between Ksh. 14,000 to Ksh. 15,000 when it becomes available.
