This month, we’re expected to see a lot of smartphones getting launched from different brands such as OPPO, Samsung, Realme, Redmi, Infinix, and others.
One of the much-anticipated phones to launch will be the Samsung Galaxy S22, which we also expect to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Let’s take a look at some of the major smartphones expected to launch in February 2022.
OPPO Reno7
OPPO has already announced the Reno7 series in China and is expected to have a global launch on February 4. The Reno7 is expected to arrive with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
It will also come powered by the MediaTek 900 SoC and feature a 48MP+2MP+2MP triple rear camera system.
Infinix Zero 5G
Infinix is set to launch the Zero 5G worldwide around February 8. The smartphone will bring the Dimensity 900 SoC and a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to pack a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Redmi Note 11
Xiaomi will take the wraps of the Note 11 series on February 9. As of now, there isn’t enough info on the device, however, we do expect it to have a 6.43-inch 90z AMOLED display and a quad-camera system with a 108MP main lens.
The Note 11 will be powered by the Helio G96 SoC and a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology.
Realme 9 Pro
The Realme 9 Pro will sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. As for the cameras, it gets a 64MP+8MP+2MP triple rear camera system and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC.
The smartphone will have up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Realme 9 Pro is expected to be announced on February 16.
Samsung Galaxy S22
Last but not least, we have the Galaxy S22. Samsung has set a launch date for the unpacked and it’s happening on Feb 9. The series will have S22, S22+, and the S22 Ultra.
The Ultra, the most expensive of the bunch, will feature a QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 108MP quad rear camera setup.
The series will come equipped with the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 depending on region, along with 8GB of RAM for the S22 and S22+ and 12GB of RAM for the S22 Ultra. Storage spaces start from 128GB to 512GB.
