Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 series is among the year’s most anticipated smartphones.

The series has been in the news lately, revealing details of what we should and should not expect from the next-generation smartphone lineup.

First off, if your heart was set on purchasing the entry-level mini model, you may not be in luck, buddy. Apple is set to ditch the Mini models from its lineup as well as the notch for a punch-hole cutout.

It was also recently reported, that the iPhone 14 and 14 Max will continue to be powered by the A15 processor. Meanwhile, the 14 Pro and Pro Max will sport the unannounced Apple A16 Bionic SoC.

There is speculation that the Cupertino-based tech giant is not only using older generation chips to create differentiation among the models but is also trying to cut corners in terms of cost amid chip shortages.

Both the iPhone 14 Max and Pro Max will sport 6.7″ displays while the 14 and 14 Pro will feature 6.1″ screens. They will have 120Hz refresh rates, better cameras, and smoother performance. As per tradition, the lineup is expected to be launched this year come September.
