OPPO has officially released the all-new ColorOS 12 operating system for its global users, becoming one of the first OEMs to run Android 12.
Aiming to provide users a seamless experience, ColorOS 12 introduces an all-new inclusive UI, smoother performance, and rich features that help boost your everyday productivity.
Built on top of OPPO’s Infinite Design concept, the new OS provides a more inclusive experience with softer frosted glass icons, animations, and information frameworks that are friendly to different languages.
Plus, the new Quantum Animation Engine adapts 300 improved animations to achieve animated effects that are lifelike.
For instance, when you are scrolling through widgets, the faster you scroll, the faster they move. Once you let go, the widgets still move as if they had real momentum and will not suddenly stop, but will have a gradual deceleration.
On top of that, we have practical features such as the PC Connect, where you can connect your phone to your PC via Bluetooth or by scanning a QR code, allowing you to directly open and transfer files (large or small) on your phone using your PC.
These are some of the brief unique features available to the new ColorOS 12, that’s first rolling out on the Find X3 Pro 5G and to other smartphones over the coming months.
In terms of updates, OPPO guarantees three major Android updates for the Reno/ F/K series, two Android updates for some A series smartphones, and a single Android update for the low memory A series.
